YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO A FREE WORKSHOP ON THE CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT GRANTS PROGRAM

The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) is holding a workshop on the California Community Reinvestment Grants Program.

This program will provide grants to community based non-profit organizations and local health departments to support the following activities for communities disproportionately affected by past federal and state drug policies:

–         Job placement

–         Mental health treatment

–         Substance use disorder treatment

–         System navigation services

–         Legal services to address barriers to reentry

–         Linkages to medical care

GO-Biz will discuss the parameters of the program and solicit input and feedback from workshop attendees with respect to the development and implementation of the program.

Representatives from local health departments, community based nonprofit organizations, community leaders and other stakeholders are encouraged to attend
